How to open sparkling wine

There are 5 easy rules, how to open a bottle of sparkling wine:

  • 1. Remove the foil covering the wire bridle, and uncover the "ring". Tilt the bottle and unscrew the ring, be careful do not to aim the bottle at someone who stands beside.
  • 2. Remove the bridle. Tilt the bottle and the cork firmly pressing the top with your thumb. Another thumb, try to move the stopper slightly to the side and upwards.
  • 3. When the stopper began to move freely and hold it tight and rotate, keeping the bottle tilted, and prepare in advance a glass.
  • 4. Sometimes, when the sparkling wine cork is quite stiff, or when you want to open a few bottles, use special forceps.
  • 5. In the famous houses of Champagne poured champagne, holding the bottle with his thumb in deeper on the bottom.
